Best/simplest books or online courses on Personal/Family Finance/Budgeting for the wealthy or the poor?
Am looking for a simple guide to follow and to learn the know how in order to track my families finances efficiently and effectively and hopefully in a fun way. The info should include info on budgeting, accounting. But the info should not be focused on the poor or the wealthy it should be more general. Should not be focused on the problems the people have with debt on credit cards
"Your Money or Your Life" and I forget the authors. There were two of them. Joe Dimingez or something like that. It does focus on debt but also on budgeting that is fairly open ended, in other words it will let you decide what is important to your family. They also have some good advice for investing your savings. The guide lines are simple enough for a child to follow but they are very powerful. With this book I have paid off most of my debt and have more in my ROTH than I have in debt. So for the first time in my life I have a positive net worth. My savings are growing very fast. So fast now that I get an increase every month. Granted its only a few cents but its a raise every month. Beats being in debt. Beats being in the dark on your budget. In other words the more you know the less you pay.
Good luck and best wishes.
