Should the American people be reporting "conservative lies" to the White House at the request of the President?

September 4th, 2012 Leave a comment Go to comments

From the WhiteHouse.gov blog:

"Opponents of health insurance reform may find the truth a little inconvenient, but as our second president famously said, "facts are stubborn things."

Scary chain emails and videos are starting to percolate on the internet, breathlessly claiming, for example, to "uncover" the truth about the President’s health insurance reform positions….

…There is a lot of disinformation about health insurance reform out there, spanning from control of personal finances to end of life care. These rumors often travel just below the surface via chain emails or through casual conversation. Since we can’t keep track of all of them here at the White House, we’re asking for your help. If you get an email or see something on the web about health insurance reform that seems fishy, send it to flag@whitehouse.gov."

This is a witch hunt to shut up the opposition. Those who question and oppose the president’s plans have a right to speak their opinions and voice their concerns. The libs/dems who think free speech is only for those who share the same views will feed on this opportunity like dogs in heat.

It’s unconstitutional to uphold freedom of speech for the lost who follow obama mindlessly yet deny that same freedom to those who see the truth.

Sure. That way they can address the with the public and tell the truth. Of course the republicans will hate this because their lies will be exposed.

Edit: There is nothing unconstitutional about this. Those who think there is know nothing about the first amendment.

They are answering the questions and assumptions people have about the health care bill because their town hall meetings have become shouting matches. They will never convince the people over 60 to think this bill is anything but a slap in their face because they are going to take $400 billion away from Medicare to help finance this bill. That is not a fallacy. If you think it is, please feel free to email the WH.

Took a look at the blog, and nowhere did it suggest that maybe, Demolemmings ought to read the health care bill before condemning Republicans/Conservatives for denouncing it. Of course, seeing as how the blog came from the White House, I wouldn’t expect our illustrious leader to put himself and his gang of shysters in harms way by asking people to find out what a pack of lies they are trying to pass.

Most of the disinformation is coming from the left. So much for transparency, show us the bill, make it legible and not more than 20 pages. NO PORK, NO GOVERNMENT CONTROL, NO LEGALESE, show us how you will pay for it NOW, not later. Give us all of the real information and there will be no disputes.

Man, it sounds like the beginning of the Nazism which I am labeling as the Obama Nationalist Socialist Party. He is trying to crush not disinformation but crush the truth from leaking out about his healthcare plan.

I don’t want rationed healthcare, nor do I accept his explanation on I don’t have to switch either. We will all end up on Obamacare because if your coverage even changes one iota, it disqualifies itself, in the eyes of Obamacare. In the end we will all be in the same boat. One that is sinking with no land in sight.

Sure, then they will have time to construct well thought lies, rather than flying by the seat of their pants when the truths make their way onto the state run media.

Only the Kool-Ade crowd would believe that this is to correct "misinformation".

It would be nice if the media would not be so pro-ambiguous on health care as to allow all of this silly drama to thrive.
