here is a news story that should shed light on a particular subject of our freedoms being taken away right from under our noses, lucky a senator saw the dragon hidden under the blanket and put the fire out before it could get started.
Following a furor over how the data would be used, the White House has shut down an electronic tip box — flag@whitehouse.gov — that was set up to receive information on “fishy” claims about President Barack Obama’s health plan.
E-mails to that address now bounce back with the message: “The e-mail address you just sent a message to is no longer in service. We are now accepting your feedback about health insurance reform via http://www.whitehouse.gov/realitycheck.”
The “flag” service was introduced Aug. 4, with a White House blog post saying: “There is a lot of disinformation about health insurance reform out there, spanning from control of personal finances to end of life care. These rumors often travel just below the surface via chain emails or through casual conversation. Since we can’t keep track of all of them here at the White House, we’re asking for your help. If you get an email or see something on the web about health insurance reform that seems fishy, send it to flag@whitehouse.gov.”
White House press secretary Robert Gibbs said at a briefing shortly after the service launched: “We’re not collecting names from those e-mails. … All we’re asking people to do is if they’re confused about what health care reform is going to mean to them, we’re happy to help clear that up for you. Nobody is keeping anybody’s names.”
Sen. John Cornyn (R-Texas), chairman of the National Republican Senatorial Committee, wrote a letter to Obama raising privacy concerns about what the senator called an “Obama monitoring program.”
“I can only imagine the level of justifiable outrage had your predecessor asked Americans to forward e-mails critical of his policies to the White House,” Cornyn wrote. “So I urge you to cease this program immediately.”
In a later statement, Cornyn said: “Of course the White House is collecting names. … It is inevitable. Anyone with access to the flag@whitehouse.gov account has access to the names and email addresses that are collected in that account. … How are they purging names and e-mail addresses from this account to protect privacy?

what other rights will this administration take from us or try to? When are we going to be the Americans our grandfathers and great grandfathers and present day soldiers are fighting for and laying their lives down for right now. If we don’t demand our constitutional rights back soon we will loose them forever. And we need to start with the patriot act that one little document takes away so many of our rights you would not believe. read it for yourself you will see.

The thing that disappointed me about it was that they should have dropped it altogether, they didn’t.
They now can say they shut down the program, but they didn’t. They just directed the data to a different website.
The hypocrisy is unmistakable. The subtle slap to our intelligence is undeniable.
They still will get the data, and still will store the names and email addresses.
But they will have plausible deny-ability that the snitch program still exists.

According to the prophetic nature of the Mayan calendar, we are presently experiencing spiritual energies and the events they bring worldwide in a one year period, Nov. 13, 08 thru Nov.8,09, that parallels the energies/events in a previous twenty year period, 1952-1972. The cry for physical and spiritual freedom from gov’t. oppression and the gyves of life itself was loud and shook the whole world. This movement was a foreshadow of an even greater movement projected for these very days. For the rest of this year we may expect to see even more oppression as you have described along with more intense protests, but the flowering energy is stronger and more compressed this time and relates to the collective consciousness of the entire planet, not just America. What every gov’t is doing is trying to deal with a rise in population that, as is most evident in China, requires the tightening of the noose around the neck of its subjects to maintain control. But as the flower breaks out of its bud and appears, the power and voice of the people will emerge. The Mayans were enigmatically advanced in knowledge of spiritual energies pulsating into our planet that are bringing our collective consciousness to a place of wholeness. The "end" of their calendar implies completion. That which is in us is greater than that which is in the world. So look up, your salvation draweth nigh.
