What is the best book to introduce me to personal finance?

I am 20 years old and just learned that I have received a decent amount of money, largely due in part to great financial planning by my grandmother. I am clueless about the financial world and am wondering if you have an idea of a great book to introduce me to the world of personal finance to help me invest and grow this money, starting with the very basics. Thanks!
Also maybe something that details investing strategies would be more important? Like I said I am very much a beginner.

Financial planning a ready reckoner by Madhu Sinha, will be a good book. I have read it. But still there will be lot of numerals. You can not avoid this in financial planning. Still this book will help you have an hang about financial planning. You can visit learnandinvest.com and see if that is what you are looking for.

I will look for the names of some good basic investing books and come back to you, but here is a really important investment strategy that you can use now & 50 years from now: Do not invest in anything that you don’t understand well enough to explain to a 12 year old…no matter WHO presents it to you!
