    When you buy a …
When you buy a stock for 10 bucks and sell it for 11 do you get 11 bucks or 21 bucks???
When you sell your home for 250k and have 100k of equity in it do you get 250k or 350k??? In other words your comment makes no sense at all, get an education.

    Also SUZE, there …
Also SUZE, there are some people out there that WANT to leave a specified tax efficient legacy to their heirs….and if they live too long, their term runs out. Permanent insurance is buying a future dollar at a discount when programmed properly, too bad there are so many bad licensed life insurance agents out there, including you SUZE ORMAN, whole life insurance allowed my family business to be passed through 4 generations so far….i guess I am lucky whole life is so bad, but it worked for me

    #3. Was he dealing …
#3. Was he dealing with a stock or mutual life insurance company? Mutual companies pay out dividends…and can be one of the best low risk long term saving vehicles that an individual can have.

#4. Please don’t speak about life insurance SUZE ORMAN ever again, you have a term cook cutter in your pocket, how much does select quote pay you for that again?? You should have been named what you really are…SUZE MORON.

She cuts everyone off after their first word and gives SUCH GREAT ADVICE…NOT!!

    #1. You pay a …
#1. You pay a filing fee to each state that you want to be registered in…so no hawaii exam is required, and you don’t have more experience by paying filing fees to more states you idiot.

#2. You did not ask this person anything about their tax bracket or their investment style. (At 14,000 per year, that is too much for a traditional or a roth IRA, and does his income allow him to contribute to a ROTH IRA? Also, is he conservative or aggressive in nature as investing goes?

    HAHAHAHAH, SUZE …
HAHAHAHAH, SUZE ORMAN is an IDIOT!!! she said she is licensed in all 50 states except hawaii, because she didn’t want to go out there to take a test! So she has a great background in life insurance…ok here are the facts

    Right…Whole life …
Right…Whole life agents just concern about how much they get payed, not about what’s good for your client…

    She’s Right! That’s …
She’s Right! That’s called Reciprocity. Which gives you the chance to do business in other state just by paying a fee. That’s why you don’t need to test again…

    Why Don’t you …
Why Don’t you explain to people what will happen to that so called “Investment” once you die? The company will keep it all, and that not good at all. Whole life agents are Heartless.. Does not make any sense to buy a Whole life..Like she said..Life insurance is not meant to protect your whole life..but, your early years untill you reach a level where you won’t need that much coverage. …

    She is really good …
She is really good a selling her books and her prepaid debit card. She is also the posterchild for increasing the continuing education requirements for holding insurance licensing.

    Ms. Orman does not …
Ms. Orman does not know what she is talking about here. Out of that $14k annual policy, the base cost of insurance would be around $4k, and that is the amount the commission would be figured on. The rest of the money buys paid up additions, which turbo-charges the growth of the policy and gives you instant access to cash. Oh yeah, and there is little, if any, commission on a PUA. We do this because we want to HELP people, not sell products like Ms. Orman tries to do!

    I laughed when she …
I laughed when she spoke to herself being licensed in 49 states, it’s absurd and meaningless. You take one exam in your state and then pay fees for the others. Plus her advice is almost criminal. She’s out to sell books, that’s all.

    Whole life …
Whole life insurance is a savings vehicle and a protection vehicle… but it is NOT to be sold as an “investment”. That’s just stupid – particularly on the part of the agent.

That said, the fact that Suze is licensed in 49 states means NOTHING. That’s not “insurance background”. That’s just spending money every year for licensing! I am an insurance agent and it’s easy to get licenses in ANY state. Just pay the fee and have a current license in your state of residence in good standing.
