How long does it normally take for someone to bowl a perfect game?
How long does it normally take from the time someone starts their bowling career to bowl a 300 game?
That all depends on the individual.
If that is what you have in mind then the first thing you need to do is get a qualified instructor.
He or she will go through the proper ways of stance, ball grip, which ball to use, the weight of the ball, and anything else needed to get you on the "right" track.
From there it’s up to you to join as many Bowling Leagues as your finances will allow.
Of course you can practice all you want and may indeed roll a 300 while in practice.
But that will mean it will "not" be recognized by the Bowling Congress. That will be a personal thing and to you that is a great achievement as it should be.
Only League 300’s are recognized by the Bowling Hall-of-Fame, etc.
I read about a man rolling a 300 while in his 90’s. It was his first and only.
Then a read where a teenager has rolled two perfect games.
So you see it all depends on how fast you learn the basics and proper disciplines. And of course the more you bowl the sooner it will happen.
I asked Ray Holmes how many 300’s he had and he said 27.
His son Dave, said he his dad rolled 102. But only 27 are recognized. The other 75 were in practice.
It’s all up to you.
Good luck.
