Why are the richest Americans mostly Dems?

http://finance.yahoo.com/personal-finance/article/103490/special-package

Because Democrats are Parasites who suck the life out of Working People.

They are mostly "old money" people.
That’s why they try to destroy any people who work hard and try to move up in society.

Every Kennedy, and In law that is born, is born a Millionaire.
But the Kennedys Hate anyone who has money.
(And Democrat Voters are so ignorant & gullible that they believe the Kennedys. Democrat Voters think that the Kennedys are just po boys.)
Funny!!!!

"the democratic party is increasingly dominated by people who have no yearning for growth: public-sector workers; academics and trustafarians who both live off inherited endowments; environmentalists who want to regulate SUVs and urban sprawl; and billionaires who are too rich to aspire to anything. (One of the best statistics of the campaign is that people worth $1m-10m supported Mr Bush by a 63-37% margin, whereas those worth more than $10m favoured Mr Kerry 59-41%.) "

Yes. Does it surprise you? It’s because they’re so good at exploiting the largest population… the poor, the uneducated, the minorities, etc. They like to work pyramid schemes like Amway.

I don’t think that most of those named on that list are Democrat – certainly not the Waltons or the Mars Family. How did you come to that conclusion?

That’s not a source, bud. That’s just a list of rich people. Where are the party affiliations?

If it’s true, and most are Dems…I would imagine that it’s due to Dems social policies.

I don’t know? that’s what the Republicans say?

and if a person wants to actually live by their view… are they a hypocrite?

I find it is the opposite — most rich Americans are Republicans. They are counting on tax breaks from Congress for Corporate America and their tax free accounts in the Caribbean.

Democrats have some kind of a guilt-because-of-success complex. The rich ones have the enginuity, creativity and work ethic to get rich, just like rich Republicans. (That’s assuming they came into their money and weren’t born into it.)

The one major difference between Dems and Reps is that Reps think rationally and Dems think through emotion. That emotion makes them feel guilty about having money, so they want to "give back" or give wealth to everyone, rather than making them be creative and hard-working enough to get it for themselves.

The other point I’d like to bring up is this notion liberals have that there is a fininte amount of wealth out there, rather than the fact that as long as people find a way to get it, there is enough wealth for everyone.

Socialism is a word that describes how rich capitalists prevent other people from becoming rich. Laws and regulations prevent competition from small start-ups, and government sponsored corporate subsidies prevent small start-ups from ever really being able to compete profit-wise (existing companies RECEIVE taxes, new companies PAY taxes).

When viewed for what it really is, socialism is disgusting and would have no place in a free and democratic society. This is why it must be wrapped up in compassion for the poor – who are usually most negatively impacted by such a system.

And before anyone gets all partisan cheerleader on me, Republicans are socialists too – just to a lesser degree in economic matters and moreso in moral issues. This seems to be temporary as Bush has raised the bar to new heights when it comes to general government control of the individual and the economy.

The end result is a society, wholly controlled both economically and legally.

They are not mostly democrats. No where on the article you attached does it say that the richest are democrats. Historically speaking, the wealthiest Americans were Republicans. You need to study American history or American government before you make that statement.

Most Democrats are not wealthy. The survivors of Hurricane Katrina were not wealthy. That’s what most liberals look like. I’m not sure why they never accumulate any wealth. Many of them spend their money on beer and cigarettes. A lot of those people in New Orleans were spending their money on strip clubs and casinos. Most of them never invest in anything. They spend liberally. Then, they rely on the federal government to take care of their debts. I think that’s what is wrong with the housing market. I think too many poor liberals tried to buy homes that they could not afford. There are a lot of poor liberals, but there are still many more people that do something to make money. There are still many more people that attempt to spend wisely. That’s the main reason John Kerry lost in 2004. Most Americans didn’t feel like they needed more social programs and higher taxes. Of course, there is a wider gap between the rich and the poor now, but the poorest of the poor are usually liberals. It is a sad situation. There are all kinds of homeless people in places like San Francisco and New York. But, what can society as a whole do for people like that? You can keep giving them more money, but they don’t spend it on necessities. They spend it on beer and cigarettes. I’m not wealthy, but I don’t feel like it’s the responsibility of the federal government to make me wealthy. I have enough money. That’s all I need. I do realize there are people that don’t have any money, and that causes me to appreciate what I do have.
