What book do you suggest to learn about money and importance of saving?

My sister acts as if money grows on a tree. She is an adult and she should have better understanding of these things. I think she is influenced by her friends who happen to have no money management skills whatsoever (and some of them have enormous amounts of debt too).

I want to buy a book for her that teaches her about money, and the fact that we have to take care of it and spend wisely.
(and because i’m 10 years younger than her, she never listens to me)

The best 3 books I’ve found on the topic of money are by Robert Kiyosaki.

I suggest you read them in this order:

    1. Rich Dad, Poor Dad
    2. Cash Flow Quadrant
    3. The Business School

There is a difference in ‘saving’ money and ‘not wasting’ it. Ideally, you want your money to work for you instead of you working for your money.

That’s why we have shopped at our affiliate stores since 1995 and we have not only found the products and the service better than the ‘normal’ stores, but they pay us to shop there. If your sister can’t stop shopping, perhaps she might at least change where she shops.

We’ve been able to turn our household expenses into assets by doing this.

One thought here that might help, ie. your sister will only get a message if she is ready to receive it. I wish you all the best.

    Good luck,

    Kurt
