Exactly how do I prevent oneself from losing money?
I have seen it occour to a lot of the people I know. What is a good money management plan?
keep it inside you at all times. I have a friend that has 8 carats of diamonds. He puts them in a capsule and swallows it. When he poops it out he puts it in a new capsule and swallows it again. He’s been doing this for years. Its inside his own body for all but 5 whole minutes a week or something like that. its the way to do it man!

You can establish a monthly budget on a page on your computer. It’s kinda fun.
Start with a section for all your income sources. Then type in all your expenses.
Balance one against the other. If there’s some left over, figure out categories for
how to use it.

Simply don’t spend more than you make. It is always wise to get the most for your money. When you are on a limited income, the only way to have more money is to either make more, spend less or both. When you get something on sale, they money you save can go to other things. My brother and his wife have no children and make about as much a me an my wife and we have 2 children, but we have more things and go on more vacations that they do. They go buy a $2000 entertaiment center, we bought a $200 entertainment center. Theirs looks nicer, but it still holds the same equipment. They bought two brand new vechicles at $25,000 each, we bought two used vehicles at $10,000 dollars each. You get the picture. We have all the stuff they have and more, it may not be as shiney but it serves the same practical purposes.
